About the Author
Prisha Singh is a 16-year-old high school student who has been living with Type-1 Diabetes since age seven. With her mother’s support, she has created an empowered life for herself, and she now supports other children newly diagnosed with the condition. Prisha wanted to share her experiences with the world in a fun way, and thus came about this book. It spreads awareness about Type-1 Diabetes, and how to deal with its challenges. This book is for all caregivers, kids and adults diagnosed with diabetes, and for those who want to learn about diabetes. Prisha enjoys swimming and playing basketball, and loves the dance art of Bharatanatyam. She has been published and is a contributing writer for Elephant Journal, an international digital publication.
