This book is based on the notes we made to record our understanding of the science (and, of course, the art) of joyful living. The power of GRAF (Gratitude-Responsibility-Acceptance-Forgiveness) was revealed to us in this process. The contents of this book are based on observations, discussions, analysis and sharing within a small group of like-minded people, who met regularly in the last few years. Driven by an urge to know more about the world that we create within us, the collective effort turned out to be a powerful experiential learning-teaching-learning cycle. It brought with it a wealth of powerful and rich knowing. This book is a humble space we have used to store that treasure. Being students, our own practice admits of further improvement and does not make any self-aggrandizing claims in this regard. To refine and deepen our understanding, we continue to prefer a learner’s approach. Making You Turn is an attempt to see traditional ways of living and thinking with a different perspective. It presents a few simple yet powerful tools that hold the promise of bringing wisdom and joy to one’s life.
